Community-Centered Engagement Spring Intensive Starts this Wednesday!
There are still spots open and time to join this virtual workshop!
Hey Changemakers!
The “Community-Centered Engagement,” Spring Intensive is fast approaching, with it’s first session starting this Wednesday, April 10! We still have some spots available, and there’s time to get registered.
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone as we together discuss how to build a stronger community-centered practice and advocate for more meaningful community involvement and partnerships within organizations. I hope you’ll join us for this three part workshop!
If you have been thinking about signing up to register but still have questions, a great place to start is with this deep dive that I shared a few weeks ago provides an outline for the week-by-week structure for the workshop.
In terms of format, the workshops will include a lot of breakouts in pairs and small groups, as well as time for reflection and discussion as a whole.
Reminder of Workshop Dates and Times:
Wednesday, 4/10, 2-4 pm Eastern (11 am-1 pm Pacific)
Wednesday, 4/17, 2-4 pm Eastern (11 am-1 pm Pacific)
Wednesday, 4/24, 2-4 pm Eastern (11 am-1 pm Pacific)
Those who have signed up will receive a Zoom link as well as details about an online community space I’ve set up for expanded discussions, additional resources, and where anyone who misses a part of a session can get caught up.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me at murawski27@gmail.com if you have any questions at all, including scheduling challenges.
In addition to asynchronous components, I’m making myself available for an additional check in, as needed, to help with busy schedules.
I’m Very Excited for the Next Three Weeks Ahead!
Already, we have participants registered from places all across the US, who are working in different areas of work within museums, youth programming, environmental organizations, arts and culture, city government, and community engagement. Some participants are from larger institutions and some are from small organizations.
We have so much to learn and share with each other, and I just know it’s going to be a great experience for all of us! I hope to see you there!
