Values Blueprint Workshop - starts Thursday!
Learn more about the workshop & download a free strategy sheet
Hey Changemakers,
My first-ever “Values Blueprint: Mapping Your Path to Meaningful Work” workshop starts this coming Thursday! We have a great group of people signed up so far, and it will be a great community.
If you are interested in connecting with like-minded professionals, clarifying your core values, and utilizing them as a compass to define your work ahead, I encourage you to join us!
Knowing and aligning with our core values has never been more crucial, particularly in the workplace. Our lives and work are regularly filled with situations when we must quickly adapt to changes, often with huge responsibility involved.
And in these moments, relying on a core set of values can make the difference between getting stuck and moving ourselves toward positive, meaningful change.
“The Values Blueprint: Mapping Your Path to Meaningful Work” is a 3-part virtual workshop that will include individual reflection, small group breakouts, and group discussions. Each session will be 90 minutes long and hosted through Zoom.
Workshop Dates and Times:
Thursday, 2/15, 1:00-2:30pm Eastern (10:00-11:30am Pacific)
Thursday, 2/22, 1:00-2:30pm Eastern (10:00-11:30am Pacific)
Thursday, 2/29, 1:00-2:30pm Eastern (10:00-11:30am Pacific)
You'll receive a Zoom link and follow up details after signing up in advance of the first session.
We are capping registration at a small group so we can focus on getting to know and learn from each other — but there are still spots open!
What to Expect in This Workshop
Session 1: After getting to know each other a bit, we’re going to dive into a series of exercises and reflection prompts designed to get us all thinking deeply about what matters most to us.
Going through this process is always really meaningful, since we end up learning a lot about ourselves and what drives us. And even when we come into this work with an existing set of values, we often find that our values are shifting and evolving over time. This session will also involve ways to share our in-process thinking with others in the group, and get their valuable insights.
Session 2: Too often, this type of values-based work ends with us just having a short list of words. But it can’t end there. In this second session, we’re going to spend time learning how to put our values into action, or as researcher and author Brené Brown states, how to go “from BS to behaviors.”
We will also begin exploring organizational values, and how our personal values align (or don’t align) within that larger context — leaving with some key strategies to address that all-to-common values misalignment.
Session 3: In our third and final session, we’re going to bring all of this work together and create a values-based plan of action for our work ahead. This will include learning how to make our values visible in meaningful ways, how to check-in with ourselves on a regular basis, and how to build a strong personal practice of accountability. After all, this work is all about living our values, and doing our best work guided by those values.

As we go through these 3 sessions, participants will receive a series of reflection prompts and strategy sheets to help guide their own work beyond our time together in this workshop.
So I wanted to share one strategy sheet with the entire Agents of Change community, especially if you’re interested in starting this values discovery process on your own.
Download this page, and try out some of these reflection prompts to get you started thinking about your own personal core values.
I’m really excited to kick off this new workshop on Thursday, and bring together an incredible group to map out the path forward for our most meaningful work. I hope you can join us!
Did you know that Agents of Change has a paid subscription option? Paid subscribing gives you access to additional posts. It’s also a way to support the work it takes to create this Substack (thank you!!).

Hi! I’m glad I found this thread! Your workshop sounds great!
